Admission Requirements
Minimum admission requirements for our International Pilot Program are as follows:

Age - At least 16 years old in order to receive your Private Pilot Certificate

Language - Evidence of proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English

Funding - Proof of funding for full cost of education, including pilot training fees and living expenses

Education - A high school graduate or equivalent

Medical - Able to obtain an FAA medical certificate

Visa - Able to obtain and maintain an international student visa (F-1 or M-1)

Visa & English Requirements
Non-U.S. citizens pursuing flight training in the United States typically require a student visa.
Due to heightened regulations surrounding aviation training, flight schools are subject to strict monitoring. The type of visa required depends on the purpose of your visit. If you are enrolling in flight training, you must apply for an M-1 student visa.
For guidance on visa requirements specific to your country, contact the U.S. embassy or consulate in your home country. Below is a step-by-step overview of the admission process for international students.
Step 1: Obtain an I-20 for M-1 Visa
To begin your admission process, you must obtain a Form I-20 from NS Aviation Flight Academy. The following steps are required:

Complete the enrollment forms provided by the academy.

Provide a bank statement demonstrating financial capability of at least $25,000 USD.

Submit a photocopy of your passport (valid for at least one year in .pdf format).

Pay a $500 I-20 processing fee to become eligible for the M-1 visa application.

Step 2: Visa Application

Register with SEVIS and pay the I-901 fee.

Complete SEVIS registration, as it is required for all international students enrolling in U.S. flight training programs.

Register with the TSA to complete the initial phase of flight training.
